Dubbadi is celebrated on 7thday after Bhadarpad
Mass Amavasya. This ritual is
performed with 16 knots threads which can be obtained from priests
(pandtanis) or make it at home.
THREAD MAKING:-
Threads can be made with white/yellow thread roll.
Incase Atti (Raw Cotton Thread / Sut) is used then use turmeric for
yellow color.
Take 16 different lines of thread and tie 16 knots after joining
them.
Don’t changes the count of Knots & Threads
Repeat the process as you will need 2 set of threads
REQUIRED THINGS:-
- Threads

Wheat Flour
-
Black Chana(Chickpeas)
-
Kumkum & Mouli
-
Dry Grass (if possible)

Glass of Water
METHOD:-
- Soak black chanas one night before and use them for (Pooja+Sabji).
- Take head bath early morning and knead a handful of wheat flour and make Ganpati sign(Satvik).
- One can do this pooja in temple or at home as per shown in pic.
- In this pic, I have taken out mud 2 times.
- First time for 13 times and keep Satvik,Kumkum,Mouli by counting 13 chanas on it.
- Second time for 16 times and keep everything same like first,but keep 16 chanas.
- Tie threads on your left arm by touching it to right hand.
- Read katha over there.
- At last with little water move this Satvik litte ahead.
- At home, take out hyndia (offering for elders) with chanas for sasu maa.
